French car manufacturer Renault has approved the zinc flake system DELTA-PROTEKT^® KL 105 with the current 01-71-002/--R specification for all new components such as bolts, nuts and pressed parts for all Renault models. One significant decision-making criteria in this was the high efficiency and economy of the coating. This makes Dörken a preferred partner in efficient surface coating protection at Renault.

The distinctive characteristic of DELTA-PROTEKT^® KL 105 is the integrated lubricant. Where standard systems create the corrosion protection through the basecoat and automobile-specific friction coefficient windows through the topcoat, Renault has placed its trust in the combination of these functions in just one product.
The efficient material consequently offers secure corrosion protection and low spread of friction coefficients with just one product. For example, the coating of high-quality screws can result in the realisation of considerable savings in material and time. Depending on which system it is compared with, this means considerable cost savings for users. For this reason, in 2006 the material was awarded the German Material Efficiency Prize of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
