QUALICOR is an association of European companies engaging in the application of microlayer corrosion protection systems, primarily for the automotive, fastener, screw and bolt industries.
To qualify for membership, firms must maintain a quality management system, such as ISO 9001, QS 9000 and/or VDA 6.1, have suitable facilities and laboratory testing equipment, and pass unannounced inspections by a neutral testing laboratory twice a year.
QUALICOR is recognised by trade associations, such as the Association of the German Automotive Industry (VDA), German fasteners association (DSV), Spring Manufacturer Association and so on.
The companies combined in QUALICOR offer industry:
A reliable, invariably high quality level
A prime quality standard monitored and accepted by a neutral institution
And save end users from incoming materials control.
The association was established on the initiative of the German automotive industry, which is particularly interested in its components supply industry maintaining a continually high quality standard. This also means the coaters have to monitor and improve their quality level constantly.
