On 1st January 2007, Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG of Herdecke took over the ‘Termosil Non-Chrome’ division of Balve based Tolkmit GmbH Indu­stries.  The Herdecke-based company has thus supplemented its zinc flake portfolio with a range of aqueous coating systems.  The intention over the next two years is to use these chrome VI free technologies in collaboration with Tolkmit to open up new areas of application.  The newly developed products will in future be sold by Dörken MKS-Systems under the DELTA-PROTEKT^® brand name.

Tolkmit has some 30 years of experience in the field of non-electrolytic coating systems.  The company produces and sells process chemicals and computer-controlled equipment for mass industrial coating using corrosion protection systems.  It also works as a contract process finisher.  Dörken MKS Systems has for over 25 years been developing, producing and selling chrome IV free micro-layer corrosion protection systems, predominantly for use in vehicle construction.  Today, the company is the global leader in this field, in both market and technological terms.
