Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG held its third international Asia Meeting in the Japanese town of Nagoya, which is also home to the headquarters of the car manufacturer Toyota, from 21st October to 24th October 2008. This meeting saw Dörken-MKS staff from Japan, China, Taiwan, India and Korea join colleagues from Herdecke, Australia and the USA in order to discuss potential future investments in the Asian growth market and to prepare the new Tech-Center that will be opened in Korea some time next year. However, this meeting also resulted in a decision to increase the company’s personnel in the new markets and to expand its network of jobcoaters, in order to further increase its consultation services and the foothold of Dörken’s MKS systems in these markets. These decisions were based on in-depth analyses performed by working groups regarding these individual countries’ requirements with respect to specific system solutions that should be offered or that still need to be developed for them. The results of this meeting will be passed on and further discussed in the international community of MKS employees via a CRM-system.
