Marcus Lämmer (40) is the new Head of Internal Sales at Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG in Herdecke.  In this role, which he took up on January 1st, he is responsible for both technical and commercial areas and will act as an interface between the development, production, distribution, marketing and general management departments.  He sees as one of his key tasks further developing the in-depth technical product advice given to clients, plus increasing customer satisfaction.  Included in this is his aim to pull together more effectively the company’s 25 years of know-how in the field of chrome IV free micro-layer corrosion protection systems and to make this more transparent to our customers in the form of technical documentation.

Marcus Lämmer is extremely well equipped for his new role at Dörken MKS-Systeme.  After vocational training as a paint laboratory technician at Herberts GmbH in Wuppertal and his time on national service, he studied Coatings and Paint Technology at university in Wuppertal and Paderborn, gaining his degree in 1995.  From then until the year 2000, he worked as a field engineer at PPG Industries Lacke GmbH in Wuppertal, where he was responsible for looking after both conventional and water-based paint systems for use in car production.  In July 2000, he became a team leader at the company in the KTL Development and Service division.

Marcus Lämmer has a wealth of experience in solving difficult technical problems and in communicating with a sophisticated clientele.  As one of Dörken MKS-Systeme’ main customers, the automotive industry will thus in future have in our new Head of Internal Sales a highly competent contact, who understands this client group’s need for both high-performance and extremely effective coating systems and who knows how to translate this into sound solutions.

Additionally Alexander Siebert is supporting the team of the Competence Center. The 23 year old new colleague has completed his degree as a Dipl.-Ing (FH). He will work from now on in the area of EC coatings. Our team in Korea has also a new member. Lily Kim has joined the customer service in Incheon.
