Whenever it comes to new products, innovative technologies and their practical application, we like to permanently be that decisive micro-metre ahead. While that doesn’t make our work any easier, it does make it more successful.
As thin as necessary, as durable as possible. Our micro-layer anti-corrosion systems have to meet the highest of demands. Extremely thin, between just 1 and 18μm thick, they primarily do their work where high-performance protection against corrosion is used in a functional way and is particularly necessary. The DELTA-MKS® systems consist of a basecoat and a topcoat. That makes them both resistant and multifaceted.
In this arrangement the basecoat determines the anti-corrosion protective qualities and is responsible for the cathodic protection. Topcoats supplement the basecoat’s properties, influence the chemical or physical durability of the whole system and thus facilitate a broad spectrum of uses.
It is via the topcoat that the attributes are set that are required for the specific application. Depending on the intended use, both organic and inorganic topcoats are available to you.
