Chamber oven

The chamber oven is used in the curing of parts as an alternative to the commonly used continuous oven. When opening the chamber it typically takes a long time for the parts to reach the required temperature, with the result that chamber oven are primarily used for small batches and small loading volumes.

The pre-drying and annealing process may take place in separate chamber oven. Regardless of the type of furnace used, an even temperature distribution must be provided throughout the furnace. Deviation from the set value should not exceed 5 K at any point. Heating typically occurs via gas combustion. Two principles are applied here: direct and indirect heating. As direct heating can result in additional soiling of the coated parts from the combustion products, indirect heating is recommended.
